HOW IT WORKS
Our WWAKE Custom Design Team is here to help you create a unique piece that speaks to you. When creating a custom piece, there are a few routes to take:
REIMAGINE A WWAKE SILHOUETTE
Any new iteration of an existing design where we may just be choosing a slightly bigger or smaller stone for you.
CREATE A CUSTOM SILHOUETTE
Work with our Custom Design Team on a completely new style. Together we draw inspiration from existing WWAKE styles, but Custom Silhouette is a brand new design!
HEIRLOOM RESETTING
We love working with heirloom stones here at WWAKE!
Resetting allows us to reimagine a piece and continue a stone's story. We begin the process by gathering the details of the stones. Once we are sure the stone can be reset, we can begin discussing the vision and inspiration for your new Custom WWAKE piece.

STONE SOURCING
WWAKE’s stone sourcing supports ethical practices while meeting our client’s demands for certain stones. We typically work with antique and recycled diamonds. When using newly mined stones, we prioritize partners who support positive social and economic impacts at the source.
We do not use lab-grown or newly purchased or mined diamonds from clients. Our passion is bringing value to the many diamonds that are already circulating in the secondary market.
We have an excellent relationship with our diamond and gemstone partners, and we make every effort to find the best value stones that fit within your chosen spending range. All Stone Sourcing requires a $500 USD deposit that will be deducted from the final invoice.
CUSTOM NEXT STEPS
APPRAISAL
If you are resetting an heirloom, the first step is getting your stone details. If your stone has been appraised by a third party already, we can use that information. If not, photos and measurements of your stone will work as well.
VISION
Knowing what you have in mind is key to making your piece special! We recommend doing preliminary research through our Futures Collection or Instagram.
Following your questionnaire, you may choose to schedule an in person or virtual appointment with our Custom Team based in Brooklyn to take a closer look at our pieces.
PROPOSAL
After your studio visit, we will create a proposal based on your specific project that includes design details, pricing, and a visual mockup of your piece.
For Heirloom Resetting: Once the proposal has been approved and signed off on, we will arrange for you to drop off your stone in person or have you ship it to us.
Our custom pieces' prices will vary depending on the stones, metal, the complexity of the piece, and whether or not custom settings are required for your stone.
PRODUCTION
Once the following steps have been completed, we will begin creating your custom piece!
Producing a customized piece requires 8 weeks from design confirmation. This lead time depends on the complexity of your design as well as the demand of custom work at the time. We will do our best to work with your schedule, but keep in mind that the more time we have, the better!
Once your custom piece is completed, we offer complimentary domestic Fed-Ex 2-day shipping, International shipping, or pick-up at our Brooklyn Studio.
Every custom piece comes with a 3-year warranty, for more detail please see our Warranty Page.
